Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Durham Terminal in North Carolina. The role involves safely operating equipment to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

Required education is a High School diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates should have basic computer skills, familiarity with SAP, and a mechanical aptitude; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of work experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard.
• Load/unload material (bulk and bagged) via waterway or road as location requires.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on mobile equipment; assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
