Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Des Moines Terminal IA to safely operate all equipment used to load and unload rail cars, boats and trucks while ensuring order accuracy and timely processing of requests.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1-3 years of experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with SAP; strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of work experience in a related role.
• Basic computer skills with SAP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to load/unload rail cars, boats, and trucks.
• Maintain order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
• Communicate with terminal managers, customers, and suppliers.
• Keep grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
