Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking a Terminal Operations Supervisor to lead terminal staff and oversee ERP-driven processes to ensure timely customer deliveries. This role sits at the heart of our operations, guiding routes, safety, and performance metrics.

In this position you will develop the workforce, supervise hiring processes, review load plans, and generate reports that support dock operations. A strong emphasis on accuracy, urgency, and clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Terminal, transportation, and/or warehouse experience; dispatch and routing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED accepted.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with urgency and high attention to detail under pressure.
• Willingness to work first, second or third shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Developing the workforce by setting expectations, training, coaching and feedback.
• Performing employee reviews and documenting corrective actions.
• Participating in hiring processes and providing feedback on decisions.
• Building pickup and delivery routes in the ERP system to meet efficiency and customer expectations.
• Ensuring unloading/loading processes are followed and safety is prioritized.
• Reviewing load plans and hazmat loading for driver safety and DOT compliance.
• Ensuring shipments are manifested and stowed properly for damage-free transit.
• Generating daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to support dock operations.
• Being accountable for Pyle Priority Shipments within the operation.
