Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management or 4+ years of equivalent experience in Transportation/Distribution.
• Supervise and discipline personnel with proper documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of mechanical operations and maintenance of revenue equipment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily shipping, receiving, maintenance, and operational activities.
• Recruit, train, and manage drivers and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies (DOT/OSHA).
• Develop and implement training programs for staff.
• Manage budgeting and control terminal expenses to improve profitability.
• Liaise with vendors and manage purchasing of supplies.
• Oversee scheduling and workload to meet customer requirements and service levels.
