Benihana in Orlando is seeking a chef to engage guests and deliver a memorable teppan dining experience. You will cook live at hibachi tables, portion foods to recipe specifications, and keep the cooking areas clean and well organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order.
• Performs a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring interaction is courteous.
• Provides guests with information about Benihana foods as they are cooked.
• Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Maintains clean and sanitary hibachi tables and kitchen areas.
• Adheres to portioning, presentation and recipe guidelines.
