Job summary

Benihana Alpharetta is seeking an energetic hibachi chef to engage guests and deliver a memorable dining experience. You will showcase cooking performances, prepare hot meals on hibachi tables, and ensure portions and presentation meet company standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, performing cooking shows, answering guest questions, and maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas while adhering to food safety rules. Training is provided and benefits are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order.
• Performs a cooking show for assigned tables with courteous interaction.
• Prepares foods in accordance with portions standards and recipe specifications.
• Maintains kitchen and hibachi tables clean and sanitized; reports maintenance needs.
