Louisiana State University – New Orleans invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Teacher Education with expertise in elementary grades subject matter and/or pedagogy.

The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses, engage in scholarly activity in K12 education, and provide service to the campus and profession. Responsibilities may include supervision of Resident Teachers and program development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Teacher Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• Evidence of successful K12 teaching experience.
• Active research agenda in K12 education.

Responsabilités

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses within teacher education.
• Maintain productive scholarly activity in K12 education.
• Serve the campus, community, and profession; supervise Resident Teachers as needed.
• Contribute to recruitment and program development.
