The School of Education at LSU New Orleans invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Teacher Education with an expertise in elementary grades subject matter and/or pedagogy. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of K12 teaching, a preference for collaborative work, and an established or emerging research agenda in an area of teacher education.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in Teacher Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
• Evidence of successful K12 teaching experience.
• An active research agenda in K12 education.

Responsabilités

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in teacher education.
• Maintain productive scholarly activity in an area of K12 education.
• Service to the campus, community, and the profession.
• May supervise Resident Teachers and assist with program coordination and outreach.
