Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate nursing.
• Unencumbered RN license (Maryland) or multi-state license.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical practice as an RN.
• Terminal degree required (PhD or DNP); if PhD, must have master's in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach 21 credits in nursing (undergraduate and graduate) as assigned.
• Plan courses, write syllabi, and design assignments.
• Present lectures and supervise class activities.
• Maintain weekly office hours and stay in contact with students.
• Utilize Blackboard and Chalk & Wire for instruction and assessment.
• Advise graduate/master’s students and participate in committees.
