Qualifications
- Earned PhD in nursing, public health, education or related field by the date of application.
- A nursing degree at any level.
- An emerging body of scholarship evidenced by publications/presentations.
- Track record of external funding.
- Strong methodological and statistical skills.
- Prior college-level teaching experience, in-person and online.
- Eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA nursing licensure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program.
- Maintain scholarly productivity with publications and presentations.
- Teach courses as assigned.
- Mentor and advise students in research.
- Participate in interdisciplinary research teams.
- Participate in faculty governance and committees.
- Engage in nursing and research organizations at national/international levels.
