Job summary

The George Washington School of Nursing invites qualified applicants for a tenure-track open rank faculty position. The School’s research interests include symptom science, oncology, behavioral health, health policy and population health. This full-time, 12-month position is scheduled to begin as early as fall 2026.

Qualifications

  • Earned PhD in nursing, public health, education or related field by the date of application.
  • A nursing degree at any level.
  • An emerging body of scholarship, as evidenced by presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Track record of external funding.
  • Strong methodological and statistical skills.
  • Prior college-level teaching experience is required, including comfort with in-person and online learning.
  • Eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA nursing licensure.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$200,000.
