Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the College of Nursing. This 9-month, tenure-track faculty position focuses on teaching, service, scholarship, and leadership within a growing program.

Minimum qualifications include an MS in Nursing (or near completion), a Doctoral degree preferred, and at least two years of academic nursing education experience. An unencumbered WV RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required or near completion.
• Doctoral degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in academic nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: Participates in development and evaluation of ASN and/or BSN program; Develops, teaches, and evaluates courses; Evaluates student performance in exams and clinical settings; Serves as course coordinator; Coordinates clinical rotations; Teaches 12 credits per semester; Participates in curriculum revision.
