Towson University’s College of Health Professions invites applications for three full-time, nine-month tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Nursing at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. Preferred begin date is August 2027.

Candidates must hold a research doctorate, have an active research agenda, and show a commitment to teaching and advising diverse populations. Maryland RN licensure or eligibility is required; ABD will be considered with appointment at the instructor

• Doctoral research required in a respective nursing specialty.
• Evidence of an active research agenda is required.
• Experience working with diverse populations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise nursing students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Maintain an active program of scholarly research.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the College of Health Professions and Department of Nursing.
