Towson University in Maryland invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Health Sciences within the Public Health Program. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate or graduate courses based on expertise and department needs, with a preferred start date August 2027.

Qualifications

• Research doctoral degree in a health sciences or related discipline.
• Education and expertise to teach courses across the department; subject areas may include public health, epidemiology, health education and promotion, public health policy and/or related health sciences content.
• Evidence of a scholarship agenda focused in an area of specialty in public health or closely related area.
• ABD applicants will be considered, but appointment will be at the instructor rank, and all degree requirements must be completed by February 1, 2027.
