Job summary
University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Nursing and Health Studies invites applications for a full-time, 12-month tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to teach and conduct externally funded research within the Department of Nursing.
The successful candidate will foster scholarly excellence across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, mentor students in the Division of Research Education, and engage in interprofessional collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Terminal research doctoral degree (PhD, DNS, or equivalent) in nursing or another discipline relevant to the school’s research mission.
- Evidence of an emerging, focused program of research and scholarship.
- Record of high-quality teaching.
- Record of service appropriate to the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an externally funded program of research.
- Mentor undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in research.
- Teach across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams and disseminate scholarship.
