Job summary

Napa Valley College seeks an experienced instructor to join the Nursing program as a full-time, tenure-track Faculty member. The position supports the ADN program, teaching and assessing nursing students, and supervising clinical experiences across multiple sites.

The role begins January 2027, follows a 175-day faculty year, with initial salary placement between $79,556 and $109,349 annually and potential to step to $130,752, prorated by start date.

Qualifications

• Master's in nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
• BSN with Master's in health education/health science.
• CA Community College teaching credential in Nursing or equivalent.
• All degrees from an accredited institution.
• BRN approval for nursing area specialization required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and evaluate students' objectives.
• Supervise students' clinical experiences in various agencies.
• Coordinate program goals with other courses and health occupations programs.
• Develop and revise curriculum; assess student learning outcomes.
• Assist the dean in program development and division tasks.
• Engage in professional development activities.
