Job summary

Victoria College in Victoria, Texas, invites applications for two full-time, nine-month tenured track Associate Degree Nursing Program Instructors starting January 2027. Roles include classroom and clinical instruction and evaluation in an integrated curriculum.

Candidates must hold a BSN and MSN in a related field with six graduate hours in nursing, plus at least three years of nursing clinical experience and a Texas RN license.

Qualifications

• Required: BSN and MSN in related field with six graduate hours in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of nursing clinical experience, preferably in adult medical-surgical nursing and pediatric and/or maternity nursing.
• Current unencumbered Texas RN license.
• Online course development experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Team classroom teaching, supervising students in clinical practice settings and instructional labs.
• Assisting in curriculum evaluation and revision.
• Committee work, advising and counseling students.
• Sharing ongoing efforts to recruit and retain students.
• Attend meetings at other VC campuses.
• Other duties as necessary.
• Access to student records per FERPA guidelines.
