Ventura College, part of the Ventura County Community College District, is seeking two full-time tenure-track Nursing Instructors to begin in Spring 2027. Under the dean's direction, instructors provide comprehensive classroom instruction to diverse students to help them achieve academic or vocational goals.

The minimum qualifications include a Master's in Nursing and a current California RN license. The district emphasizes inclusive education and student success.

Qualifications

Master's in Nursing required.
Current California RN License required.
All coursework must be from a recognized accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Provide academic instruction to students through lecture, lab, or performance courses.
Advise and instruct students regarding programs of study and other resources.
Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
Plan and organize instruction aligned with course outcomes and district goals.
Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and progress.
Select instructional materials and assist with curriculum development.
Attend committees and participate in department and campus meetings.
May provide work direction to others.
