Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field with 5 years of recent industry kitchen/cooking supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in POS systems and related industry software.
• Teaching experience is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office).
• Knowledge of curriculum/training design, teaching methods, and assessment.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers lectures on culinary topics and related hospitality subjects.
• Evaluates and grades students’ work and conducts examinations.
• Prepares course materials, syllabi, assignments and handouts.
• Maintains attendance records, grades, and other required documentation.
• Maintains regular office hours to advise students and assist learning.
• Plans, evaluates, and revises curricula and teaching methods.
• Participates in campus, department, and community activities.
