Job summary

Quanex in St. Cloud, Minnesota is seeking a Tenoner Operator on 2nd shift to set up, operate, and inspect tenoner machines and maintain quality standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read blueprints, and help train teammates while working a hands-on schedule Monday through Thursday evenings and Friday partial shift.

Job description

Quanex is looking for a Tenoner Operator – 2 nd Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results, this role offers the opportunity to build your skills on a variety of specialized equipment. As a Tenoner Operator, you'll set up, operate, and inspect tenoner, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and craftsmanship. You will also be responsible for machine preventative maintenance (PMs).

Your growth matters here. As you become proficient on additional equipment, consistently achieve production goals, and share your expertise by training others, you'll have opportunities to advance and take on greater responsibility within the team.

Salary: $23.00-$34.50 per hour (rate includes 15% shift differential), starting wage varies based on your experience

New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 2:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 6:30pm

Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 4:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm, potential Saturdays
