Job summary

Quanex is seeking a CNC Operator – 2nd Shift in St. Cloud, Minnesota. You will set up, operate, and inspect CNCs to ensure high-quality craftsmanship. The role offers growth as you master additional equipment and contribute to team success.

Starting wage is hourly with a 12% shift differential. A new hire bonus of $1,000 is paid in installments over 6 months. Schedule is Monday–Thursday evenings, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education, required.
• 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.
• Ability to set up machinery and make necessary adjustments to the program.
• Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and verify work on assigned CNC machine.
• Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Complete all documentation related to the position accurately and legibly.
• Train others as requested and support co-workers to promote teamwork.

Quanex is looking for a CNC Operator – 2nd Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results, this role offers the opportunity to build your skills on a variety of specialized equipment. As a CNC Operator, you'll set up, operate, and inspect CNC’s, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and craftsmanship. Your growth matters here. As you become proficient on additional equipment, consistently achieve production goals, and share your expertise by training others, you'll have opportunities to advance and take on greater responsibility within the team. Salary: $20.90-$32.85 per hour (rate includes 12% shift differential), starting wage varies based on your experience New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment! Work Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Thursday, 4:30pm-5:00am, Friday, 2:30pm-8:00pm
