Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking RecTennis Instructors and Site Directors to work at local parks, schools, and recreation centers in the area. The roles involve on-site duties, coaching, and program delivery for youth and adults, with flexible part-time, hourly, and seasonal commitments.

Responsibilities include creating a safe, engaging learning environment, communicating with families, and managing session logistics. Prior experience is preferred, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis is preferred.
• Instructors can be an employee of any age over 14 generally; Site Directors must be 18+.
• Experience working with children and adults in a teaching setting is preferred.
• Dependability, communication skills, and an excellent work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide ongoing instruction and expertise at program sites.
• Ensure equipment setup and take down for each session and ensure safety of equipment.
• Check attendance and sign-out with parent confirmation; stay until participants are picked up.
• Perform marketing tasks as needed (flyers, events).
• Represent and support USTA PNW facilities and NetGeneration products and services.
