Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking RecTennis Instructors and Site Directors to work at local parks, schools, and community centers. Positions are part-time and hourly, with responsibilities including teaching tennis, following curriculum, and supervising session flow.

Instructors should enjoy working with diverse groups and communicating with families. Site Directors lead daily operations and collaborate with Regional Manager of Recreational Tennis; both roles require dependable, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis is preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Site Directors must be 18+; Instructors 14+ age eligibility.
• Ability to provide safe, engaging instruction and manage groups.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide ongoing instruction at program sites.
• Set up and break down equipment; ensure equipment is safe and functional.
• Check attendance and obtain parent sign-off at session end.
• Stay on-site until all participants are picked up by authorized personnel.
• Conduct marketing tasks as needed (flyers, events).
• Represent USTA PNW and NetGeneration products at sites and events.
