Job summary

USTA PNW is seeking RecTennis Instructors and Site Directors to serve in local parks, schools and recreation centers across the area. The role reports to the Regional Manager of Recreational Tennis and offers hourly, part-time positions with seasonal on-call duties.

Responsibilities include delivering quality tennis instruction, managing site operations, coordinating with parents and partners, and handling site setup, attendance, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis preferred (youth, teens or adults).
• Instructors can be 14+ years old; Site Director must be 18+.
• Experience working with children and adults in teaching setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide ongoing instruction at program sites.
• Ensure equipment set-up and safe condition; transport as needed.
• Check attendance and obtain parent sign-off at session end.
• Stay at site until all participants are picked up by authorized personnel.
• Perform marketing tasks such as distributing flyers and participating in events.
• Programs occur at outdoor and indoor sites and may involve weather conditions.
• Represent and support USTA PNW facilities and NetGeneration products.
• Follow all USTA PNW procedures and protocols at all times.
