Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possession of a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
• Knowledge of golf course layout, rules, and etiquette.
• Ability to maintain simple records.
• Ability to meet and assist the public politely with golfing needs or problems.
• Skills in written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of the rules used in golf.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use word processing and databases to maintain records.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Keeps golf carts maintained, clean, and free of trash.
• Ensures all golf carts are on charge at day’s end.
• Picks up balls on the driving range, washes and staging them daily.
• Collects green fees, cart fees, and merchandise payments as needed.
• Assigns starting times when play warrants.
• Enforces course rules in the clubhouse and on the course when asked.
• Keeps the public informed about course operations and upcoming events.
• Performs basic maintenance of the clubhouse and surrounding grounds.
• Takes out the trash and keeps cans neat and orderly.
