Job description

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tenant Coordinator. Working with in-house engineering staff and landlord representatives, the Tenant Coordinator will facilitate repairs to lighting fixtures, furniture, and building systems for the Medical Centers off-campus portfolio of clinical, research, and administrative office space.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Recordkeeping: Oversees the monitoring and maintenance of records. Ensures that records are completed and relevant paperwork is kept in the office. Maintains records for supplies ordered and received, including price quotes, order/receipt dates, and vendor lists.
  2. Safety: Identifies unsafe conditions and takes appropriate actions to ensure safety. Communicates hazards to supervisors and responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
  3. Floor Inspections: Conducts daily inspections of floors and systems, ensuring cleanliness and safety, coordinating with building staff as needed.
  4. Office Maintenance: Keeps offices and common areas clean and orderly, manages trash disposal, and ensures cleanliness standards are maintained.
  5. Heat and Hot Water Systems: Monitors and ensures proper functioning of heating and hot water systems, notifying management of issues and coordinating repairs.
  6. Repairs: Directs and performs repairs to appliances and fixtures, responding promptly to calls and updates from supervisors.
  7. Work of Contractors: Monitors outside contractor work to ensure quality and completion, informing supervisors of progress or issues.
  8. Maintenance of Equipment/Supplies: Ensures proper maintenance and inventory of equipment and supplies, and that they are used efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of building maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties
  • Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and hot water systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial building maintenance
