Job summary

The City of Savage is seeking three temporary Maintenance Workers for the Parks and Streets divisions to keep city parks, streets, facilities, and public infrastructure safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.

The City of Savage is seeking three, temporary Maintenance Workers - two in the Parks Division and one in the Streets Division.

Temporary Maintenance Workers support the safe, clean, and well-maintained condition of City parks, streets, facilities, and other public infrastructure. Duties include snow and ice removal and the safe operation of City equipment.

These positions involve both independent work and teamwork in a variety of Minnesota winter weather conditions.

Hours could range from 25 to 40 hours per week. Some night and weekend hours, when necessary to plow snow.

Pay Range: $17.51/hour - $23.06/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.


• At least 18 years old by November 16, 2026.


• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check prior to employment.
