Job summary

North Carolina State University’s JC Raulston Arboretum is seeking a Temporary Visitor Service Team Member to open/close the garden and assist with rentals, programs and events in Raleigh, NC. You will support meetings, ensure access to spaces and equipment, and provide AV setup as needed.

Work mostly nights/weekends, up to 20 hours per week, with duties including guest interactions, merchandise assistance and event support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to drive a golf cart and gator to move chairs and tables.
• Comfortable working indoors or outdoors, rain or shine.
• Able to work independently.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the garden and facilities for rentals, programs or general visitation.
• Set up and/or facilitate meetings, programs & events at the JC Raulston Arboretum.
• Ensure groups have access to space and equipment at agreed times.
