Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in hospitality and tourism or business management; business degrees with culinary certificates and teaching experience also considered.
• Competitiveness with knowledge of hospitality/tourism environment and hospitality technology.
• Demonstrate ability to work with others and be collegial.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses within the Hospitality and Tourism Management curriculum, preparing syllabi and maintaining student records.
• Oversee culinary and baking labs, ensuring safety, upkeep, inventories, and hands-on student guidance.
• Participate in events such as Veterans Gala and Spring Luncheon planning and execution.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide academic advising to students.
