Job summary

PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is seeking a Telehealth Aide to provide on-site support in long-term care facilities, enabling clinicians to deliver virtual mental healthcare to residents. You will facilitate telehealth sessions, assist patients, and serve as the on-site link between PGS providers and facility staff.

The role requires setting up equipment, troubleshooting basic tech, and traveling to facilities within an assigned territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel between facilities.
• Monday–Friday availability during normal business hours.
• Comfortable setting up and operating telehealth equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technology and software.
• Strong communication with patients, clinicians, and facility staff.
• Ability to work independently in long-term care facility settings.
• Healthcare, administrative, or technical support experience preferred.
• Physical requirements of the position as described.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate telehealth equipment, computers, cameras, and other devices.
• Ensure telehealth equipment is functioning properly before and during appointments.
• Assist patients with connecting to telehealth sessions and provide guidance throughout.
• Serve as on-site liaison between telehealth providers and facility staff.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate unresolved problems.
• Travel to assigned long-term care facilities to support scheduled appointments.
• Commute between and service patients at multiple facilities per day as needed.
• Maintain professional, timely communication with providers and facility staff.
