Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of verified professional driving experience.
• Must pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses, shuttles, vans and paratransit units on university routes.
• Inspect vehicles, report malfunctions and maintain cleanliness.
• Fuel daily and monitor vehicle condition for safety.
• Maintain radio/phone contact and inform transportation of changes.
• Keep mileage and passenger logs for assigned tasks.
• Assist disabled individuals on/off vehicles as needed.
• Report route problems and suggest changes when appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
