Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Michigan CDL-B with Passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Must meet OSHA and DOT compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular schedules.
• Prior experience operating commercial buses or passenger vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate university-contracted buses and vans safely and professionally.
• Transport passengers to scheduled destinations in a punctual manner.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety policies, and university transportation rules.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and mileage reports.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles.
