Responsibilities

• Operate Ball State University buses on shuttle routes and dispatched runs.
• Inspect buses and report equipment malfunctions; maintain cleanliness.
• Fuel daily and inspect bus for exterior damage.
• Maintain contact with Transportation Office via radio/phone; report delays or emergencies.
• Maintain mileage and passenger logs; complete trip sheets for each task.
• Assist and direct disabled individuals on and off vehicles as needed.
• Report route problems and suggest changes when appropriate.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
