Job summary

TrulyHired in Norwich, CT is seeking a Temporary Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavior analytic services for a specific student under BCBA supervision. This is a temporary assignment with potential for full-time employment based on district needs.

The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student outcomes while adhering to IDEA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing with BACB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with non-behavior analytic providers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior analytic services for students under BCBA supervision.
• Follow prescribed behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on targeted student behavior.
• Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional assessment procedures.
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding plans and progress.
• Collaborate with parents, paraprofessionals, teachers, and administrators.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to RBT ethics and supervision requirements.
• Attend trainings to maintain and update ABA knowledge.
