Job summary

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) invites applications for a Temporary Research Assistant II (NHS) in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The role focuses on health economics research, supporting the Principal Investigator, coordinating logistics, and assisting with surveys and data collection.

The appointment is a temporary full-time contract for 3 months. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree or above, with strong Chinese language skills and proficiency in English typing.

Qualifications

• Recruiting participants and conducting group activities, focus group and in-depth interviews.
• Performing data entry for qualitative and quantitative data; and

++Major Duties and Responsibilities++

The appointee will assist Principal Investigator in the research projects related to health economics. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Coordinating the project logistics with the project team members;
• designing and developing discrete choice electronic surveys, posters, and PowerPoint;
• recruiting participants and conducting group activities, focus group and in-depth interviews;
• performing data entry for qualitative and quantitative data; and
• providing research-related assistance.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• a recognized Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in social sciences or related disciplines;
• strong command of written Traditional Chinese and spoken Cantonese;
• proficiency in typing Traditional Chinese and English is a must;
• proficient in Canvas and Qualtrics; Proficient in R and STATA will be an advantage;
• strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, able to work independently; and
• willingness to work outside during weekdays and weekends, if needed.

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract for 3 months. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
