The Student Access and Success Department is currently seeking a Temporary Pre-College Program Liaison to join their team of professionals. The Pre-College Program Liaison serves as the primary representative and point of contact between the Pre-College Program and partner schools. This position is responsible for recruiting and enrolling students into the program, building and maintaining strong relationships with school administrators and designated contacts, and developing strategic outreach initiatives to increase program awareness and participation. This is a part-time position requiring 20-29 hours per week. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday during regular business and school hours. The incumbent must be available to travel to assigned target schools and attend recruitment events, presentations, workshops, and meetings as needed. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support program activities, parent meetings, college fairs, and community outreach events.
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree.
Temporary
As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement). Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.
