Florida International University’s Center for Children and Families seeks two Temp Research Coordinators to support 20-40 hour per week assignments. The team studies child and adolescent mental health and operates a multi-disciplinary clinic.
Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day activities, assisting PI, recruiting participants, collecting and managing data, and communicating with parents and teachers. This temporary role offers hands-on research experience in a renowned center.

The Center for Children and Families, an interdisciplinary Preeminent center at Florida International University (FIU), has 41 faculty associates, 450+ undergraduates, and 100+ trainees in masters, doctoral, and professional programs who study child and adolescent mental health and are focused on advancing the way we treat child and adolescent mental health disorders. The CCF has a tripartite mission that includes research, education, and service and it operates a renowned, multi-disciplinary clinic where state of the art, evidence-based treatments are offered to children and families that struggle with mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, conduct and behavioral problems, difficulties with academic and social skills, and depression in children and adolescents. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other grant funding to the CCF exceeds $18 million annually. The Center for Children and Families is looking for two 20-40 hour per week Temp Research Coordinators.
Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.
Temporary
As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement). Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part. $19-$25 per hour
