Job summary

Millennia Housing Management is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician I in West Haven, CT. You will coordinate tasks and supplies to prepare vacant units for re-occupancy, assist with special projects, and maintain overall property condition including exteriors, common areas, and grounds.

Responsibilities include electrical/plumbing basics, appliance handling, painting, and preventive maintenance. Travel may be required; strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience or related experience.
• Reliable transportation to safely carry out responsibilities.
• Willing and able to travel; typical travel 1–3 days per week.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean/restore recently vacated apartment homes.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility and grounds.
• Change bulbs, locks/keys.
• Install or assist with appliance installation.
• Paint exterior/interior, caulking, light drywall repair.
• Manage painting, pressure washing, and related tasks.
• Forecast repairs for upcoming/vacant units.
• Create punch lists and quality control checks.
• Assist in trash removal from vacant units.
• Perform quality control on systems, appliances, aesthetics.
