Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is seeking a highly organized Temporary HR Coordinator in Anchorage, AK. The role supports recruiting, onboarding, and employment administration for a busy transportation organization. Expected duration is 6 months, with pay of $25+ DOE.

The HR team will benefit from organized document management, screening support, and proactive collaboration with hiring managers. Responsibilities include coordinating recruiting activities, onboarding, maintaining DQ files, and generating HR

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate recruiting activities, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, offers and onboarding.
Track new hire requirements and pre-employment screenings.
Maintain and audit Driver Qualification (DQ) files and personnel records.
Upload, organize, and maintain documents in HR/recruiting systems.
Monitor candidate progress and follow up on outstanding requirements.
Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, safety, and operations teams to support staffing needs.
Provide professional customer service to candidates and employees.
Prepare reports and provide general HR/recruiting administrative support.
