Job summary

College of DuPage seeks a Specialized Testing Assistant (2 PT, Temporary) to proctor high-stakes and group tests, assist examinees, faculty and community members, and ensure consistent procedures across testing sites.

Responsibilities include tech support, maintaining proctor eligibility, coordinating with IT for system updates, and training staff in monitoring equipment while following FERPA confidentiality rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills required.
• Proficient use of the English language required.

Responsibilities

• Proctor high-stakes tests and assist students, faculty and community members with testing.
• Provide immediate tech support for examinees as needed.
• Maintain proctor eligibility and re-certify as required by testing companies.
• Collaborate with COD IT Department on maintenance and technical issues.
• Assist in training staff to use monitoring equipment.
• Handle candidate identification procedures and FERPA guidelines.
