College of DuPage seeks an Instructional Assistant III for Westmont Center. The role provides test administration and instructional support off-campus, assisting the Learning Commons and Testing Center staff.

The position contributes to maintaining smooth operations and ensuring testing policies are followed. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and prior education experience.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' college or equivalent experience in an educational setting required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior work experience in the field of education preferred.
• Advanced computer skills preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide test administration and instructional support services to students and faculty in the off-campus Learning Commons (LC).
• Support the Learning Commons and Testing Center Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
• Execute complex test delivery methods and administer exams using COD systems and testing platforms.
• Maintain daily Learning Commons and Testing Center operations and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure test integrity policies are followed and FERPA guidelines observed.
• Troubleshoot testing program software issues and coordinate with testing vendors and COD IT staff.
• Complete proctor certification tests and maintain proctor eligibility for high-stakes testing.
• Inform students of course options, retake opportunities, and direct them to COD departments.
• Develop relationships with faculty to facilitate ongoing testing procedures and support.
