Job summary

College of DuPage seeks a part-time Testing Specialist (PT Temp Casual) to support daily operations in the main campus Testing Center. The role involves administering various tests, ensuring a secure and compliant testing environment, and assisting students and faculty with test procedures.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to troubleshoot issues while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in student records.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework in education or service related environment.
• ACT Ability to Benefit Test Administrator certification required and updated annually.
• Two (2) or four (4) year degree with some coursework in tests and measurements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily testing operations at the College of DuPage main campus Testing Center.
• Adhere to National College Testing (NCTA) standards to maintain testing environment.
• Explain test requirements and procedures for multiple test formats.
• Answer faculty and student questions regarding testing policies and procedures.
• Navigate Colleague/Datatel to locate student information and registration records.
• Follow FERPA guidelines to assure confidentiality.
• Prepare incident reports for testing irregularities and communicate with staff.
