We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our Independent Living community. The Front Desk Receptionist is often the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors, making this an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Greet and assist residents, visitors, families, and guests.
Respond to residents’ questions and concerns and direct them to the appropriate staff member or department when needed.
Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
Direct visitors, delivery drivers, vendors, and other guests to the appropriate location.
Maintain awareness of activity at the front desk and help ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and outside visitors.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident or community information.
Previous receptionist, customer service, administrative, or senior living experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Comfortable answering phones and assisting people with a variety of questions and needs.
Basic computer and office skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
