A mission-driven organization in Clemson, SC is seeking a temporary, experienced Executive Secretary to partner directly with its CEO. This highly visible role combines executive support, board administration, and strategic project coordination, making it ideal for a polished professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of high-impact work.
This is a fully onsite position with hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive-level administrative and operational support
- Coordinate board activities, including agenda preparation, meeting materials, executive communications, and meeting logistics
- Prepare board packets, reports, presentations, and other executive documents
- Record and distribute meeting minutes
- Support special projects by gathering information, tracking metrics, researching topics, and preparing summaries and memos
- Welcome and assist board members, committee members, and other stakeholders during meetings and events
- Anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify solutions before challenges arise
- Handle sensitive donor, employee, and organizational information with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, or comparable executive support experience
- Experience supporting C-suite leadership
- Demonstrated experience supporting board meetings, board governance activities, or executive committees
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
