Job summary

Williams College's Office of Accessible Education is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Temporary Exam Proctor pool for the 2026-27 academic year in Williamstown, MA. The proctor's primary role is to monitor OAE's new Testing Center, ensuring a secure, quiet, and low-distraction environment for students taking midterm and final exams in a small group setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to remain seated or move quietly for extended periods (2–4 hours).
• Commitment to academic integrity and impartial monitoring of student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Testing Center to provide a secure, quiet environment for students.
• Assist with administration of exam materials and basic logistical support during exams.
• Uphold all standards of academic integrity and address questions calmly and impartially.
