Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks a Temporary Ticketing & Event Services Associate to handle ticketing, guest services, and event operations. You will assist with admissions, seating, and venue setup while delivering outstanding customer service.

Weekend/evening hours are typical; candidates should be able to work in a dynamic event environment and use POS systems. This is a part-time, temporary role within the Ticket Office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, equivalency or combination of education and experience.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Sell and distribute event tickets in person, online, or by phone.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and guests.
• Assist with ticket scanning, admissions, and guest entry procedures.
• Answer questions about event schedules, seating, policies, and venue information.
• Support concession operations, including food and beverage sales.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and venue preparation activities.
• Perform environmental services functions to maintain a clean, safe facility.
• Monitor assigned areas to support positive guest experiences and venue operations.
• Assist with crowd management and directing patrons to locations.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and related event technology.
• Provide general administrative and operational support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
