The Food Bank of South Jersey is seeking a Development Coordinator to manage donor records, process gifts, and perform stewardship activities in a fully in‑person role at our Pennsauken facility. This temporary position offers opportunities to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of communicating professionally with donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; at least two years in development, donor services, fundraising operations, or a related field.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong analytical skills, a commitment to data accuracy, and reliable follow‑through across competing deadlines.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, responds to donors with patience and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Process gifts in Salesforce and maintain accurate donor records.
• Prepare timely gift acknowledgments and receipts within 48 hours.
• Document donor interactions and keep follow‑up tasks in Salesforce.
• Update donor info and preferences across platforms; protect confidentiality.
