Job summary

National Car Rental is hiring a Temporary Return Agent at Tallahassee Airport (TLH). You will greet customers, manage the return process, and handle rental charges and receipts with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

This 90-day temporary position requires strong customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and adherence to safety and return procedures. Multiple shifts are available to cover airport hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of continuous customer service retail or administrative support experience.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• Temporary position up to 90 days during the defined season.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on arrival on the lot using prescribed dialogue.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
• Identify found items and log with unit number, date and time; file in lost and found.
• Explain and review rental charges; provide accurate receipts.
• Offer information regarding transportation to the airport terminal in a professional manner.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue and seek feedback on service.
• Assess customer satisfaction and document any dissatisfaction.
• Check returned vehicles for damage and direct to counter for damage/loss report.

The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Return Agent. The Return Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position. Assist all customers with the rental return process. Create and maintain a friendly, efficient environment for all customers. Assist in making all transactions quick and efficient.

This position pays $14.00 / hour and is located at the Tallahassee Airport (TLH) - 3300 Capital Cir SW, Tallahassee, FL 32310

This is a Temporary position and cannot exceed 90 days.

We Have The Following Schedules Available

• Tuesday - Saturday: 11:00am to 8:00pm (Off Sunday/Monday)
• Tuesday - Saturday: 5:00am to 2:00pm (Off Sunday/Monday)
• Sunday - Thursday: 5:00am to 2:00pm (Off Friday/Saturday)

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot
• Remind customer to check for personal belongings
• Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found
• Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer
• Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal
• Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue
• Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction
• Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report
• Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers.
• Identify vehicles, which are on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of continuous customer service retail or administrative support experience
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
• Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from consideration.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
• This is a temporary position and you may work up to a maximum of 90 days during the defined season.
