Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in food preparation that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade equivalent to one year of experience in a commercial and/or institutional setting.
• This is a temporary position with no leave or retirement benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all food during scheduled times.
• Assist the Food Services Supervisor in menu planning, development, and recipe research.
• This position adheres to cleaning standards and effective techniques and will ensure that the food service area is clean and sanitary at all times.
• May be required to obtain Serv Safe Certification.
• Ensure dining room is set up for meals and that food served is appealing and appetizing while maintaining the highest of health standards.
