Job summary

Nelson Connects in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a Temporary Consumer Lending Loan Coordinator to support the loan lifecycle from approval through funding. The role is on-site, full-time, with an hourly pay of $25–$27.

You will handle outbound member calls, gather documentation, and assist Lending teams with queues, packages, and funding. The assignment lasts about four months, through mid-January.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer lending or banking environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to Members regarding loan status and documentation needed for funding.
• Manage and support the loan completion process from approval through funding.
• Follow up with Members, dealers, and vendors to obtain required documentation.
• Assist Direct and Indirect Lending teams with loan queues, packages, and funding.
• Maintain accurate spreadsheet tracking, data entry, and loan records.
• Process daily outbound mail and prepare and ship FedEx checks.
• Help ensure loan files are complete and ready for internal and external audit requests.
• Review daily lending reports and monitor loan pipelines to support timely loan closings.
• Provide phone coverage and general administrative and operational support to the Consumer Lending team.
• Research and resolve Member questions, concerns, and complaints while protecting the Member experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive Member financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve lending and processing workflows.
